During the peak job-hunting season for college graduates, known as the "Golden March and Silver April," Guangdong once again drew national attention with its "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" initiative. In just five days, four large-scale job fairs were held across provinces. It presents Guangdong's attraction for talents on China's reform and opening-up frontier.
Guangdong prioritizes a targeted approach in talent recruitment. The recent cross-provincial job fairs targeted eight cities known as hubs for leading universities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Wuhan. Innovatively adopting the concept of "guest-of-honor cities" from exhibition practices, the fairs paired cities like Shenzhen with Shanghai, Guangzhou with Beijing, Dongguan with Hangzhou, and Huizhou with Wuhan. Positions on offer ranged from entry-level roles with starting salaries of 8,000 yuan to million-yuan annual packages for leading experts. Leading tech firms, specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises, and manufacturing single-item champion enterprises recruit talent based on their strategic industrial development planning. This model of targeted job-talent matching significantly reduces job-seeking blind spots and recruitment costs while improving employment efficiency.
Guangdong also emphasizes practicality in aligning recruitment with its modern industrial system. Over 70% of the positions offered were in emerging sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine. More than 60 listed companies, led by industry giants like Huawei, Tencent, and BYD, took part in the events. The initiative fosters an integrated talent, industry, and innovation ecosystem.
Equally important is the "warmth" embedded in Guangdong's employment services. Initiatives include youth stations offering free accommodations for fresh graduates, provincial subsidies for graduates who work in 12 cities across eastern, western, and northern Guangdong for at least six months within two years of graduation, and a 100,000-yuan household registration incentive for new PhD graduates working full-time in Shenzhen. These tailored policies across Guangdong's cities address pain points in job seeking with remarkable precision. Additionally, the "Yuejiuye (Jobs in Guangdong)" mini-program provides smart job matching, while a dual-track approach combining internships and full-time opportunities helps job seekers integrate into industrial ecosystems early. Through continuous innovation on approaches, Guangdong strives to make employment services faster, deeper, and more compassionate.
Employment is both the cornerstone of public welfare and the backbone of a city's vitality. Guangdong's recruitment campaign reflects its commitment as a major economic powerhouse and its pragmatic strategy to fuel future development. 在“金三银四”应届毕业生求职的高峰时段，“百万英才汇南粤”系列招聘活动5天4场跨省招聘，令广东这片改革开放的热土再次成为焦点。
在人才对接方面，广东讲究一个“准”字。此次跨省送岗系列招聘活动，辐射的北京、上海、杭州、武汉等8个城市均为全国高校聚集地。在形式创新上，系列招聘活动借用了展览会常见的“主宾城市”概念，比如深圳对上海、广州对北京、东莞对杭州、惠州对武汉等。从8000元起步的基础岗位到百万年薪的学科带头人席位，广东邀请科技领军企业、制造业单项冠军企业、专精特新企业等带着“产业地图”找人才，这种让岗位与人才精准对接的做法，大大减少了求职者的盲目性和企业的招聘成本，有效提升了就业效率。

在就业服务方面，广东追求的是一个“暖”字。比如，设置青年驿站，面向应届毕业生提供免费住宿服务；毕业2年内高校毕业生到粤东粤西粤北12市就业6个月，可申请省级就业补贴；新引进入户并在深圳全职工作的博士毕业生，可申请10万元入户补贴……广东各地市个性化的政策大礼包背后，是对求职痛点的精准把握。此外，“粤就业”小程序智能匹配岗位信息，实习就业“双通道”助力求职者提前融入产业生态，广东千方百计想新招、拓思路，让就业服务有速度、有深度，更具温度。
